Welcome 2026




Hello everyone,

I hope you’re settling into the new year—perhaps with a few fresh goals to sink your teeth into, or maybe simply enjoying the feeling of a clean slate. Either way, there’s something quite special about the start of a new year.



Looking back, 2025 was a real whirlwind for Thrift View Bakery. It brought so many new experiences, challenges, and goals, and I’m incredibly grateful for how much the bakery has grown along the way. One of my biggest triumphs was permanently welcoming my wonderful friend Jo onto the team. She now helps me with prep every Wednesday, and I honestly don’t know how I ever managed without her. Having that support has made such a difference—not just practically, but emotionally too.




The sourdough bread classes I ran throughout the year at the wonderful Grange were another real highlight. They were such a joy to host, and I’m so thankful for the support and friendship of Jennie, who owns this beautiful building. The Grange was the perfect setting to slow down, share knowledge, and bring people together over a love of bread—something I’ll always be grateful for.


So all in all, the bakery will be ready and up for any new experiences that may come it's way and looking forward to providing fresh Sourdough and other baked to all you lovely lot.
