Ingredients & Allergens Policy

At Thrift View Bakery, we are committed to providing high-quality baked goods made with carefully selected ingredients. This policy outlines important information about our products to help you make informed choices.

 

Ingredients​

We use fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. Allergen information is available for all our products. Common allergens such as Wheat, Dairy, Nuts, Soy, and Eggs may be present in our bakery.

Dietary Accommodations 

We offer a range of options to suit various dietary preferences, including Vegetarian and Vegan baked goods. We currently do not offer gluten-free, sugar-free, halal, or kosher options.​

Cross-Contamination Prevention

While take necessary precautions to prevent cross-contamination, our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, and other allergens we cannot guarantee that any of our products are completely allergen-free. ​Utmost care is taken during the production process to avoid contact between products that contain nuts and those that do not. Our staff follow strict hygiene practices, including handwashing and equipment sanitisation, to minimise the risk of cross-contact. You can read our Food Safety & Hygiene Policy here.

Allergy Disclaimer - Nut Allergies

Customers with severe nut allergies are advised to exercise caution and consider their personal level of risk tolerance when consuming our products. Nuts are used in various products and recipes within our bakery, including but not limited to almond-based pastries, sesame bread, and hazelnut bakes. Where possible we will provide clear and visible signage at our bakery, indicating that nuts are used in our products.

Custom Orders

Custom baked goods can be tailored to dietary requirements upon request. Advanced notice is required to accommodate special needs.

Our team are committed to providing honest, transparent information about our products. We maintain accurate ingredient lists, clearly specifying whether items contain gluten, nuts, or nut-based ingredients. Our sourdough bread is made with simple, high-quality ingredients, providing a nutritious option for your diet. Each loaf offers a good source of carbohydrates and fibre, supporting energy and digestive health. While we strive to provide accurate nutritional information, variations may occur as our recipes are freshly prepared in-store. Customisations may also affect the nutritional content.​

We take allergies and the safety of our customers very seriously. We understand that some individuals may have allergies or dietary restrictions, particularly regarding nuts. To ensure a safe and inclusive environment for everyone, we have listed the following ingredients used in our bakes, fillings, toppings, and decorations.
